DENVER (KDVR) — Investigators are looking into a shooting involving teenagers that occurred on Monday, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation reported in a press release on Wednesday afternoon.

On Monday, around noon, the Lake County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a shooting that took place near 19773 Highway 24 in Leadville.

The victim, a male juvenile, told deputies that he was confronted by two other juveniles who shot him once in the arm, CBI said.

He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was later released from the hospital.

Not long after the shooting occurred, deputies were able to find the suspects and arrest them, identifying them as two male juveniles from the Leadville, Lake County area.

They were taken into custody without incident.
