LEADVILLE, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said two juveniles have been arrested following a shooting that injured a teen on Monday.

Investigators said the Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shooting near 19773 Highway 24 in Leadville around noon. They said a juvenile male had reported that he was confronted by two other juveniles and was shot in the arm.

CBI said the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening and has since been released from a hospital.

Just after the incident, they said deputies found and arrested two male juveniles without incident. Both juveniles were reportedly from the Leadville and Lake County area.

Both juvenile suspects have been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
