SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WFSB) - A dog suffering from cancer was left abandoned and emaciated at a Southington park.

According to the Friends of Southington Animal Control, Trooper Mo, an older, sweet-natured pit bull was found alone at Memorial Park in Southington.

They say Mo is suffering from a large abdominal mass and many nodules in his intestines of cancer.

“He was left to fend for himself in his final days, a truly unimaginable act of cruelty,” they said.

Friends of Southington Animal Control are looking for justice for Mo.
