Mallrats, a Minnesota-based 1990s tribute band, performed rocking tunes as children and adults alike visited local businesses' booths and members of the National Guard on Aug. 12.
The 211th Engineer Company brought out a heavy tactical truck and an M113 tracked vehicle out to Egan Avenue, giving children quick tours. They also challenged kids to spin a wheel, where they could win prizes like stickers or hats or have to complete physical challenges like push-ups or squats, often alongside members of the National Guard. ×
