YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - A Youngstown burglary case was dismissed Wednesday in Youngstown Municipal Court.

Details behind the dismissal were not available on Wednesday afternoon.

The case against Lewis Brown, 36, involved an incident reported earlier this month on the South Side.

A woman living on Plum Street called police to report that Brown forced his way into her home and locked the door.

The woman ran outside and called police.

Brown told police that he was being chased by a man with a gun who fired shots at him, according to a police report.

Police said at the time that they had no calls for gunfire in the area or any other disturbances.
