PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. — Update: The road is now open once again.

Officials with the Pulaski County Government are warning drivers to avoid the area of Garrison Road due to a downed tree in the area.

According to reports from officials, a large tree is down near the 7100 block of Garrison Road in Little Rock, and it has brought down power lines.

Crews are already on the scene to begin clearing the tree, but they cannot begin clearing the tree until electricity is shut off.

They are urging drivers to please use alternate routes and to not attempt to cross or go near the area.
