WHITE DEER, Texas (KFDA) - Ruben Guerrero first came to White Deer back in 1995 and was promoted to head coach in 2000, where he stayed in the position for the next six years. Now, he gets to put the Bucks’ cap on once again, hoping to steer this program in the right direction.

After spending the last five years at Sunray, he’s happy to be back in a place he once called home.

“A lot of the players that I coached, I’m now coaching their kids and so that’s kind of a neat deal for me,” he said.

He came back to White Deer in April, and he knew the top priority was showing his players he meant business.
