ALLEN PARK, Michigan — Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa continued his trend of honesty and candidness ahead of his sixth season in the NFL with his comments after Wednesday’s joint practice with the Detroit Lions .

The Lions undisputedly dominated the Dolphins on both sides of the ball at Meijer Performance Center, and Tagovailoa voiced his frustration with the side he controls.

“I think, (Wednesday), offensively was a very frustrating day in regards to what we wanted to do, what we said we wanted to do,” Tagovailoa said. “Came out and we just weren’t able to get things jumpstarted, so that was very frustrating.”

Tagovailoa was sacked several times Wednesday. The onslaught began from the very first play of 11-on-11 work, and Tagovailoa consistently saw pressure.
