LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A second arrest has been made in what police are now calling a shootout at a bus stop on the first day for Jefferson County Public Schools .
This arrest was made on the same day that a second, and this time deadly, shooting happened in the same area.
Back on Thursday, Aug. 7, police said shots were fired between two people in the area of 10th and Chestnut streets around 8 a.m. as dozens of children waited for their school buses.
No one was hurt.
Two days later, on Saturday, police arrested a 15-year-old . On Wednesday, Aug. 13, another 15-year-old was arrested in connection to the shootout.
Both are now facing 34 charges, 33 of which are wanton endangerment. The first suspect has a charge of possession of a handgun by a minor and the other possession of a handgu
