THORNTON, Colo. (KKTV) - Over 100 grams of powdered fentanyl and over $13,000 of forged checks have been recovered near Denver in early August, according to the Thornton Police Department (TPD).
Officers said they witnessed a suspicious vehicle and decided to contact the driver.
During the stop, police said drug paraphernalia was seen in plain view, prompting a vehicle search.
During that search, police said they uncovered 104 grams of powdered fentanyl, six grams of meth, over $13,000 in forged checks, several plastic baggies and a digital scale.
The 30-year-old man in the vehicle, who was not identified by police, was arrested and taken to the Adams County Jail.
