MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man accused of trying to kill his wife by having someone set her car on fire last week was arrested in March for allegedly sending two women to his estranged wife's home to beat her up.

Travis Davison, 44, was booked in the Shelby County Jail on Monday and charged with attempted second-degree murder after someone poured gasoline on his wife's Camaro and set it on fire while she was in the vehicle.

Jessica Nicole Rios, 39, was also charged with attempted second-degree murder in the case.

The victim said she parked her silver Camaro in front of her apartment building on N. Second Street when she noticed a silver SUV, a black BMW, and a gold sedan all parking in front of her vehicle.

The victim told police she heard a loud conversation coming from the Bluetooth connect
