WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. (WFRV) - The Wrightstown Community School District has named its Interim Superintendent for the upcoming school year after months of turmoil surrounding the position.
Ron Saari had been suspended shortly after he took over the role from his predecessor, Andy Space, who handed in his resignation in December.
The newly appointed Interim Superintendent, James Smasal, was announced on Wednesday. The Board of Education plans to approve the appointment at a meeting on August 20.
According to the release, the Board had 10 candidates before narrowing to a couple of finalists. The following statement was released as well.
