LOUIN, Miss. (WDAM) - On Wednesday, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office arrested three 18-year-olds in connection with a shooting in Louin.
Launzae Cortez Nicholson, Christopher James Moncrief, Jr., and Marcus Deshawn Perkens are all charged with shooting into a dwelling.
According to JCSO, the boys allegedly used a 9mm handgun and an AR-15 style rifle to fire shots in a home and buildings in the community.
The cause of the incident is believed to be connected to a disagreement that occurred at a horse/ATV ride on August 2.
According to jail records, their bonds were set at $20,000, and all three were released on bond the same day.
