HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — Several solar panels were shot at in Robards, Kentucky.

Officials with Geronimo Power spoke at Tuesday’s Henderson County Fiscal Court meeting and said they’ve been experiencing vandalism.

The representative said around 32 panels had to be taken down and recycled due to damage from gunfire. They say others were shot at as well.

According to Geronimo Power, this is happening at the Unbridled Solar Farm near Robards, a 160-megawatt solar project located in both Henderson and Webster Counties.

The company told county leaders that these shootings seem to be happening at night. While nobody has been injured, they do have evening crews out there, which creates an even bigger concern.
