CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The trial of Andrew Shaw, a convicted drug dealer accused of orchestrating the 2018 murder of Chris Bagley, continues. Wednesday, the jury heard testimony from a man who witnessed the killing -- his version of the story differed from what the jury heard earlier this week.
The prosecution argues Shaw asked his two friends, Drew Blahnik and Drew Wagner, to kill Bagley after Bagley attacked and stole from him. Wagner said he overheard Shaw offer Blahnik $10,000 to kill Bagley. After Bagley was killed, Wagner said Shaw asked him to give Blahnik a duffel bag carrying money.
Wednesday, Paul Hoff took questions from attorneys, he owns the mobile home Bagley was killed in and watched Bagley die. Hoff said he and Bagley became friends in 2018 after buying drugs from ea
