“I think it’s gonna be a crazy couple of months, and then we’ll see what it is after it calms down a bit,” said neighbor Stephen Montalvo.
In an interview on Wednesday morning, the store’s “Captain” —the chain’s name for a store manager —told WWL Louisiana there would be extra traffic enforcement on opening day. She also said the parking lot had been designed to minimize traffic backups.
“This is the first store I’ve been in that has four entrances, so you can get in from every street, as opposed to just having all the cars come in from one street,” said Rachelle Haddad-Martinez.
