WASHINGTON — Like many in D.C., Anacostia residents are wondering what the next 30 days will look like as federal authorities prepare to start 24-hour patrols starting Wednesday night.
This comes after President Trump’s Monday announcement that D.C.’s police force is now under federal control, and hundreds of men and women from the National Guard will be patrolling the District.
