WASHINGTON — After a week of humidity lingering in the air, D.C. is under a heat advisory until 8 a.m. on Saturday. Temperatures will feel 95 degrees or hotter during the day and overnight will feel-like 80 degrees or hotter.

It is recommended to stay cool and hydrated during this time. Cooling centers are available throughout the city. Locations and hours can be found by visiting heat.dc.gov or on the map below. Free transportation is provided to the centers by calling the shelter hotline at 202-399-7093 or 311.
