Forty-five chickens were rescued from a rowhome in Kensington on Wednesday, ACCT Philly said.

According to the animal rescue organization, the birds showed clear signs of cockfighting, including roosters being "dressed" with combs cut and prepped for fighting.

The hens and roosters not prepped for fighting will be taken to Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, the group said.

The dressed roosters trained to fight will be euthanized, the group said.
