BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - It’s the first day of school for students across the Brazos Valley and with the new shoes and backpacks comes new policies, procedures, and administration to Bryan ISD.
As students head to school, they must comply with a new state law. A no-cellphone policy has been implemented in every single school district in Texas.

Since House Bill 1481 has passed, it bans the use of telecommunication devices like cell phones for students while on school grounds.
