BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - Two issues have arisen in Bossier City regarding parking lots.

Business is changing in the usually thriving East Bank District after areas are converted into paid parking.

The East Bank District in Bossier City is known for its bars, food, art and music. Having grown in popularity, the area now faces a parking problem.

Like any entertainment district in a city, it can be congested, and parking is limited.

Recently, many of the parking spots have been reworked as paid parking.

Emilio Avlia, the manager of El Patillo Bar and Grill, says business has changed due to the parking system.

“Business has dropped for that same reason; we would like to have more parking and not just for me but for my neighboring businesses friends,” says Avlia.
