WASHINGTON — A man is facing up to 10 years in prison if convicted after being accused of throwing a sandwich at a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer patrolling Northwest D.C.

Sean Charles Dunn is charged with felony assault by the Department of Justice, with U.S. District Court documents obtained by WUSA9 confirming that the man had been arrested and allegedly confessed to serving the agent a meal he didn't order, tossing the sub at the agent's chest.

The video, first posted to Instagram but later shared widely on platforms like Reddit and YouTube, was recorded Sunday night at around 11 p.m. near 2001 14th St. NW, near the intersection with U Street.

The video, submitted as evidence in U.S. District Court documents, has the caption, "FBI gets sub thrown at him down U Street."
