NEWBURYPORT — The Museum of Old Newbury recently announced the grand opening of the Perkins Art & Research Center on Sunday, Aug. 24, at 4 p.m. at 98 High St.

This milestone marks the culmination of decades of preservation and transformation, breathing new life into the 217-year-old former printing plant of inventor Jacob Perkins, according to staff.
