CLEVELAND (WJW) - Cleveland City Council announced that the city will reimburse the Cleveland Browns more than $2.6 million for emergency repairs to Huntington Bank Field.

City council made the decision during an in-person meeting on Wednesday.

The work being reimbursed includes repairs to concrete, replacement of air conditioner units, work on pipes and other things.

As the FOX 8 I-Team previously reported, with the Browns talking of leaving, some council members previously said the city should not spend one more dime on repairs to the current stadium.
