BOSSIER CITY, La. - The ongoing investigation into Bossier City's use of public funds for private parking lots continued Tuesday at the Bossier City Council meeting.
The council voted to bring in an outside attorney to review the findings of its investigative committee.
The investigation centers around parking lots built at Scott's Audio and Bossier Power Equipment along the Walter O. Bigby Carriageway. These lots were reportedly funded and completed without council approval.
Councilman Brian Hammons emphasized that the outside lawyer’s communication with the city attorney will be limited strictly to official matters related to the case.
