HOUSTON – Retired Houston Texans star wide receiver Andre Johnson ‘s home was “ransacked,” with several items stolen during a late July burglary, according to police.

KPRC 2 has learned among the missing items, per sources: Johnson’s Pro Football Hall of Fame ring.

Johnson, 44, reported the burglary to police, and the investigation remains active and ongoing. Johnson advised police that he would like to pursue criminal charges during a report filed July 29.

When police arrived at the scene of Johnson’s home in the greater Houston area, they found that the bedroom door was open and several football items sentimental to the former All-Pro wide receiver were reported missing. The window to the bedroom was broken, according to police.
