Back-to-school season can be an exciting time for many students and parents. But for others it can turn out to be a stressful time, especially as you are heading out the door.

Shanna Pearson, the founder and president of Expert ADHD Coaching, joined KCRA 3 to talk about how to make the morning run smoother.

“It’s really great to give your kids a couple of things that they get to do,” she said.

That can eliminate a “to-do” item on a parent’s list of responsibilities.

One thing that helps is practicing the task ahead of time.
