Nearly two weeks after a group wearing masks and carrying swastika flags marched in downtown Concord, city leaders say the community is united in rejecting their message.
The incident happened Aug. 2 along Main Street. Witnesses and videos show about 20 people dressed alike, in red shirts and masks, clashing with a bystander before leaving in a rental box truck.
U-Haul told News 9 it learned of what it called the “misuse” of its equipment almost immediately after the event and confirmed it has banned the customer who rented the truck, calling the incident a violation of the rental contract.
