Boo was a tiny newborn who once lived on the streets with her mother and littermates.

When Animal Control found the family, they brought them to a shelter for safety. Sadly, after being placed together in a kennel, Boo’s mom refused to accept her puppies and even lashed out at them.

Too young to understand they’d been rejected, Boo and her siblings longed for their mother’s warmth and comfort.

Since they needed constant, round-the-clock care, the shelter reached out to Compassionate Canine Society , a home-based rescue in El Paso, Texas, for help.

The rescue took in three puppies from the litter and immediately began bottle-feeding them every two hours, keeping them warm and safe.
