Vera Tidwell Dedman, age 85, of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, at NHC The Trace.

Vera was born in Fairview, Tennessee, and was the daughter of the late Henry Warren and Bessie Mae Dotson Tidwell. She was the widow of the late Jesse James Dedman, who died in 2008.

Vera was also preceded in death by her daughter, Christy Jo Dedman, in 2004. She was the last of her brothers and sisters, Leon Tidwell, Percy Tidwell, Betty Casteel, and Juanita Cox.

Vera worked most of her life, retiring from Alco Industries, as a customer service representative with some 36 years of service, later working in a local meat processing company and at times clerked at her brother-in-law and sister-in-law’s market.
