A recent study listed Coventry as one of the worst places to live, placing it 255th out of 284 local authority areas. The data considered crime rates, schools, house prices, and NHS access to determine where residents have a good quality of life.

Nuneaton and Bedworth were ranked 167th and 75th worst places to live, respectively, but figures also showed the best areas to live, which were Stratford-upon-Avon at 41st, North Warwickshire at 50th, Rugby at 70th, and Warwick at 75th.
