SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - U.S. Sen. Charles Grassley of Iowa was in the northwest part of the state on Wednesday, where he made several stops.

KTIV was with Sen. Grassley at his stops in Storm Lake and Sioux City, and he also gave us an interview on Signal Hill during News 4 Live at Five.

While speaking with the Republican senator, KTIV’s Matt Breen asked the following questions:

Senator, as we speak, President Donald Trump is on his way to a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. The two are set to talk about an end to the war in Ukraine. In March, on the Senate floor, you said, “...the United States ought to be very cautious in any dealings with an international war criminal,” meaning President Putin. What do you hope happens at this meeting between the two presidents?
