A total of 143 cases of various pathologies were resolved within the framework of Ipasme's Surgical Plan, aimed at Zulia's teaching staff.

The care was provided at the Hugo Chávez Hospital, where a new surgical plan is planned for the end of August to treat another 200 cases and perform 600 cataract surgeries throughout the southern part of Lake Maracaibo.

At Santa Bárbara General Hospital, the first phase of the ophthalmological care program was completed with surgical interventions on 369 older adults with cataracts.

Patients received comprehensive care, from initial medical evaluation to postoperative follow-up, using advanced technology and supported by a specialized medical team.
