CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The downtown Cincinnati “violent attack” that has drawn national attention to the city and its rise in crime was started by two men who told the victims before pummeling them WWE wrestling style, “they were at the wrong party” and to “get off the street,” a prosecutor said in court Thursday.
Six of the seven suspects are making their first appearances before a judge right now after their indictments last week.
All six now face elevated charges of three counts each of felonious assault and assault and two counts of aggravated riot.
Each one now faces up to nearly three decades in prison if convicted on all charges.
