Ford Motors has issued another recall this summer, but this time it affects a popular model of pickup trucks.

The carmaker recalled 103,174 F-150 vehicles with faulty hardware that can cause a rollaway or crash risk, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration .

What Ford models are affected and why are they being recalled?

Ford 2023-2025 F-150 pickup trucks are involved in the most recent recall.

The rear axle hub bolt can break, damaging the axle hub splines. This damage can cause the car to roll away while it’s parked without the parking brake engaged or lose drive power.
