Brendan Rodgers was lost for words when he heard a fan theory that he was sending the Celtic board a message at Pittodrie – by not wearing a TIE! ‌

But he did admit the club are 'notorious' for leaving their business late, and says like any manager, he'd like his signings in sooner rather than later. ‌

A clip went viral this week of a punter on a radio phone in who pointed to the fact Rodgers had ditched the tie from his suit during the 2-0 win at Aberdeen . ‌

The fan went on to point out it could be a message that he's growing disgruntled in his position due to the perceived transfer inactivity.

But Rodgers wasn't having that, explaining the much simpler reason – that it was too hot.
