ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A St. Louis man was convicted on multiple counts of sex crimes against a child that occurred in 2019 and 2020.
Robert Linton, 85, was convicted on three counts of 1st degree sodomy and one count of 2nd degree child molestation on Aug.13 by a St. Louis County jury in Division 18 of the St. Louis County Circuit Court.
According to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the crimes occurred between April 30, 2019 and Feb. 26, 2020.
The victim was four years old at the time the crimes took place.
Multiple witnesses were called to the stand, including the victim himself, his mother and his godmother, to who the victim first disclosed.
