The fourth annual Harvest Dinner Fundraising Gala will be taking place at the Ellis Nature Centre on Aug. 23.

Proceeds from the event are split between the organizers, the Lacombe Museum, and the Ellis Nature Centre to help improve and promote research and education programs.

For the event, there will be a farm-to-folk dining experience crafted by Milly Oak Head Chef Derek Layden to celebrate community, culture, and cuisine, office administrator and volunteer coordinator Chloe Anderson said.

The evening will consist of a 5-course dinner including a charcuterie social, beet cappuccino, chilled tomato consommé, stuffed chicken breast, beef tenderloin, and fruit crisp, a silent and live auctions, live entertainment featuring the Red Deer Symphony, and dessert auctions.
