A second MasterChef contestant has been cut from the current BBC One series, which has been embroiled in controversy and seen both hosts ousted from their roles. ‌

It was previously revealed that Sarah Shafi had been taken out of the show after requesting it not be aired, following a report that validated claims against hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode. ‌
