ALBANY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- The New York State Public Service Committee voted Thursday morning, August 14, in approval of National Grid's three-year joint proposal to raise gas and electric rates in upstate New York.
Starting September 2025, the average customer's gas and electric bill will rise by $22 per month, and will continue to increase over the next three years.
The second year, gas and electric prices will increase by more than $14 per month, and by more than $13 in year three.
