Viewer Question: Any news on what's next for the closed Denny's in Camillus?

The Denny's at 5315 W. Genesee Street in Camillus abruptly closed last March. No reason was given by the company.

According to Onondaga County property records, the restaurant was sold in April for $1.25 million to DEL Associates XXIV, LLC.

The Florida property listed for the LLC is linked to Benderson Development.

Benderson owns the Camillus Commons, which surrounds the Denny's property.

Benderson isn't bending when it comes to unveiling what's next for the property. NewsChannel 9 reached out to the company for comment, but has yet to hear back.

There's currently a Benderson leasing sign posted on the Denny's property.
