Wegmans recalled its medium Camembert cheese and several products containing the cheese due to potential listeria contamination, the company said on Aug. 12.

The grocery store recalled the Wegmans Medium Camembert Soft Ripened Cheese, Wegmans Assorted Cheese Flight, Wegmans Grilling Camembert with Tapenade & Roasted Tomatoes and Wegmans Caramel Apple Pecan Topped Brie Cheese because it had the potential to be contaminated with a bacteria, Listeria monocytogenes.

The affected products were sold in the cheese department from July 1 to Aug. 12 at all Wegmans stores in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., the company said.
