NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — Cheese sold at Wegmans stores across the Northeast is being recalled due to potential listeria contamination, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The affected items were sold between July 1 and Aug. 12. The items include: • Wegmans Medium Camembert Soft Ripened Cheese with best by dates of July 26, Aug. 12 and Aug. 19. • Wegmans Assorted Cheese Flight • Wegmans Grilling Camembert with Tapenade & Roasted Tomatoes • Wegmans Caramel Apple Pecan Topped Brie Cheese
Connecticut has one Wegmans store in Norwalk that opened less than a month ago on July 23.
