GREENVILLE — U.S. Attorney Pam Bondi was in South Carolina's Upstate for a closed-door meeting with state and local officials Aug. 14 discussing ways to improve collaboration between state and federal law enforcement, the S.C. Attorney General's office confirmed.

A spokesperson for Attorney General Alan Wilson said Bondi met with a number of state, local and federal officials on a multitude of law enforcement topics.

In the morning, she was spotted in Anderson at the restaurant Mama Penn's, where she ate breakfast and took photos with members of the staff.
