BRISTOL, R.I. (WLNE) — Leaders broke ground on Mount Hope High School in Bristol Thursday.
Residents voted in favor of an update to Mount Hope High School in 2023.
The new school will be built on the site of the existing school.
Bristol-Warren Superintendent Ana Riley said the school will focus on expanding career and technical education programs and special education services.
The new high school is expected to be finished in 2027 and to cost $185 million.
