CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) - A body was recovered from the Willamette River near West Linn on Wednesday evening, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
At about 7:45 p.m., deputies were notified of a body seen floating in the middle of the river, near the I-205 bridge.
With help from Clackamas Fire, the man’s body was removed from the river. The man has not yet been identified.
The sheriff’s office says deputies did not see any obvious signs of trauma on the body, and it appeared he had been in the water for some time.
The Clackamas County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine cause of death and identity the man.
