GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A pickup led officers on a two-speed chase late Thursday morning before it ended near Grovetown.

The chase started in South Carolina and tore through Aiken County, passing into Georgia around 11:35 a.m.

2 killed in crash on Hancock Landing Road in Burke County

Two people have died after a crash in Burke County on Wednesday night.

Authorities from South Carolina continued the chase on westbound Interstate 520 with speeds near 100 mph.

Richmond County deputies joined the pursuit, as well, which continued onto westbound I-20.

An officer performed a PIT maneuver and stopped the pickup around Mile Marker 190, and the suspect was taken into custody just before noon.
