HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A West Springfield man was arrested in connection with a shooting in Holyoke last month and faces several firearm charges.

In a news release by the Holyoke Police Department, officers were called to 27 Sargeant Street at around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24th, for a ShotSpotter activation. A shooting victim was located and taken to the hospital with serious injuries, who is expected to recover.

During the investigation, the suspect was identified as 21-year-old Jeyver Pabon-Flores of West Springfield. A warrant for his arrest was issued, and he was taken into custody at around 9 a.m. on Wedensday at an apartment on the 0-100 block of Wilcox Street in Springfield.
