Two retail theft operations broken up in North Port

NORTH PORT, Fla. ( WWSB ) - North Port Police say they’ve put a big dent in two professional retail theft rings.

In a joint undercover effort with the Florida Highway Patrol, officers recently made 11 arrests in 15 separate cases.

They also recovered a sizable amount of stolen goods, the North Port Police Department said.
