Northern Nevada's favorite food truck only operates on weekends, and only in one location. Get in line early, because it always sells out.

After nearly two months of reader nominations and reader votes, Mexican seafood truck Los Mandilones claimed victory in the Northern Nevada Food Truck Showdown as the favorite food truck of summer 2025, edging out Phat N Tired in the final.

More than 300,000 votes were cast across six rounds of voting involving 64 of our readers' favorite mobile food outlets.

Grab it while you can

Los Mandilones is on wheels, but you'll only ever find it in one spot — the parking lot on the southwest corner of Rock Boulevard and Prater Way in Sparks.
